Jan and I visited the townhouse on Monday and we were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and presentation of the property - so essential when you're putting it on the market! To Whom it May Concern We enjoyed several years of good service from Badenoch Real Estate as property managers. We have always found that they take extra care in looking after their customers, be they landlords or tenants. The latter is especially important, because a satisfied tenant is a good tenant and that is what a landlord wants and needs. The quality of their staff is invariably high and Heather provides professional leadership to a great team, it seems to us. In addition, this year Badenoch handled a property sale for us. Again, the quality of the service they provided us, though Symon and Mickayla, was very high, and the sale process was both smooth and very satisfactory for us. Hi Heather and Symon Just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you so very much for all of your work and dedication to our investments over the years. Most especially though, really appreciate all of the work you put into the sale of our Queanbeyan property for very little return considering the hours involved. As much as we are relieved to no longer have the amount of debt we had, I am quite sad that we won’t be working with you in the foreseeable future. This will be the first time since I was 20 (that’s 20 years for you guys playing at home!) that I haven’t had a rental property! Very strange indeed….. We settled on the sale of our two-storey Harrison townhouse in April 2014, so the dust has truly settled since then and we can review our working relationship with Badenoch Real Estate in the cold light of day. Firstly, we went to Badenoch three or four years ago to ask them to manage the property. We were initially a bit hesitant because they charged more than some other property managers, but a work colleague told us the difference was worth it. So it proved to be. I recall to this day the first meeting onsite with Heather Badenoch, who said she expected properties to be managed to the same standard as her own. And that’s how it turned out. Whenever we checked the home, it was in first-class order. The management team (we dealt with an always courteous Chloe Riles) was responsive and delivered what we needed – updates on maintenance items, ensuring approvals were received before proceeding with jobs, as well as the all-important end-of-year financial reports and advice. When we came to selling the property, we again had some trepidation about selling through the same agency as managed the property. However, we need not have worried. Symon Badenoch gave us accurate and professional marketing advice and we emerged from the experience with a very satisfactory, stress-free outcome. Importantly, even after the property was sold and commissions paid, Symon was happy to follow through on an erroneous electricity bill we received. To the Prospective Badenoch Client, I have had a relationship with Badenoch's for over 15 years, either as a renter, a property owner and recently, a property seller. My dealings with the team (in particular Heather, Symon, Natalie & Jayne) from day one have been nothing but productive, whether it be a request to them and their immediate response to the situation or how well they managed my property and eventual sale of that property.
